10/29 genetic engineering
I do not think that we should bring back the dinosaurs. Just because we can doesn't mean that we should. The movie jurassic park speaks for itself when you think about all the things that could go wrong. The dinosaurs died out for a reason, if they hadn't died out then humans wouldn't have come up. On that note, if we were to bring the dinosaurs back it would just be a struggle between two super-powers, them and us. And I get the feeling from the fact that they were bigger, stronger, and had better physical weapons that that would be a struggle that we would not win.

I think there are many realms in science where we have to ask ourselves "Just because we can, should we?" It is interesting to think of the ethical dilemmas surrounding this type of question in relation to this topic as well as others. Do we stop to think before we do?
